Adam Carolla told not to mention Artie?

When Adam Carolla was on the show last week he was plugging upcoming gigs at Caroline's. On his own podcast he had mentioned Artie being at one of them. When he didn't bring this up on Stern's show I thought maybe Artie's appearance fell through. However, Artie did do one of the Caroline's gigs with Adam. I'm wondering if Bababooey asked Adam not to mention Artie's presence at the gig. It just felt odd that Carolla didn't bring up this thing that would be of obvious interest to Stern fans.

God forbid that Corolla is allowed to let anyone know that Artie is appearing somewhere.  Why would Howard help out someone that he used and abused on his show for content for years and then wrote off rather than help.
